Wil Petre is the creator of A Cocktail Party Game
What are you most excited about in bringing your work to the FGP Festival?
This is my first attempt at creating "content" for an entire evening, and it's a very personal expression of how I like to spend my time, and live my life.
Send us an image that describes or represents your artistic process (bonus points for a gif)
Who are some of your art heroes?
I'm not much for heroes, but I vacillate between the character of Javier Bardem's father in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and someone on the street with a sign offering free hugs.
What is a highlight of your process with FGP this past year?
This may be a pageant answer, but every time I showed up. The enthusiasm and can-do attitude of everyone at FGP and the staggering raw work that was brought in and gently shaped and molded before our eyes.
Oh no, your process is showing! What's your artistic process guilty pleasure? Or what's the thing you do that you don't want to tell us?
Most of my work ethic is food-reward based. Like if I finish this, I can eat some chips.
What other events in the FGP Festival are you really excited about?
Eric Farber's The Parade Ground!!
